who rules?

one of my friends and me, were discussing drinking and smoking( hell of a discussion it was:P  we ended  up screaming at each other :P) my point was:
whether it's smoking or drinking or drugs..all of these manipulate your senses, don't they? why do you want to let a non living thing manipulate your senses?YOU are the master of your mind. why let anything else rule it? even for an hour or whatever time it takes for your hangover to last! aint that sensible?

  1. its up to the individual..
in many cases "a little manipulation" of the senses IS what is required. :P

  3. Hmm...Drinking smoking drungs r surely injurious to health. But who says it rules ur body o mind wen u r high?? Never. I just pushes u to a subconscious level where you loose your "materialistic" senses. If your intentions r well defined then it cant effect the real YOU. You can control your thoughts even being high and if you really do then u can compare that those thoughts can nvr come to ur mind in normal state.

M not boasting any1 to go for smoking, drinking or drugs...just speaking out of my personal experience.

    Go through this once- http://chotashankyinnitdgp.blogspot.com/2011/05/radhey-radhey-nights-to-marijuana-wings.html

    Experience matters :P
Its not abt smoking drinking or drugs...its about the person who is using them. Your soul rules your materialistic body....no1 can rule your soul swthrt.
I have written so much coz ppl generally have such thoughts as urs...and its not true.

  4. i agree baby, these intoxication take over, even so for a little while.. but they do...! and being a non addict to any of it, its easy for you to say, why let it rule you.. but no matter how you say it, or how convincing you be about it, if a person smokes or drinks or does drugs, he alone would understand how much he needs that substance to rule and leave him alone..

it would be perfect to be master of your mind, but it takes courage to have no intoxication and be capable to cope up... trust me...! so no matter how you state your opinion about addictions, the defensive ones would always find a shield..;)
